Hario size 1 or 2. For standard doses of around 12g-14g the smallest size 01 V60 is your best bet. This is for those who consistently brew around 200mL of coffee for personal consumption though it has a little more room for mornings that you need an extra kick. The Size 02 V60.
For the risk-averse caffeine addict go for the size 02. Also for what its worth Ive seen different coffee shops use both sizes some shops will use the 01 and others will use the 02. Dont think theres a huge difference either way.

I personally like the 02 size I feel its the sweet spot size. The 02 size is usable for a small single cup still but allows more room to brew two or more cups at the same time. Id say the least amount of ground coffee I use is 13-16grams.
Regarding size options the 01 is the minimum size for a single 10-12oz cup of coffee in my opinion. At 20g of coffee the dripper is crowded and Im barely able to add as much water as I want to. Coffee shops all use the 02 so unless youre seriously constrained for space Id go with the 02 so youve got more room in the dripper to work with in making larger or multiple-cup pour overs.
Id suggest the 2 cup version. I usually only make one cup every morning for myself but theres more room in the 2 cup to pour and no discernible difference in flavor. I have the plastic version of the 1 cup and still go with the 2 every time.

I use the 02 size for single cups - 1213g coffee 225g water in approx 196g beverage. Ive got a plastic 01 that never gets used. 12g is the recommended amount of coffee by Hario.
